Why Wagtail Exists

Wagtail exists to change that experience. We’re named after Australia’s boldest little battler – the Willie Wagtail bird. We care deeply for the environments we work in by bringing the same energy to every job and giving back to our native wildlife.

Meet the People Behind Wagtail
Will – Licensed Plumber
Will is a licensed plumber with hands-on experience across residential, renovation, commercial and strata plumbing throughout Sydney and rural areas.
He’s known for:
- Taking a diagnose-first approach
- Explaining problems clearly
- Focusing on long-term solutions, not quick fixes
- Holding work to Australian Standards – every time
Will believes good plumbing is about more than fixing what’s broken. It’s about understanding how a home works and helping people look after it properly.
When he isn’t plumbing, you’ll find him coaching or watching rugby union, spending time at the dog park with his Catahoula Boxer X rescue dog, Monty, or gravel riding.
Lauren – Operations & Customer Care
Lauren supports the business behind the scenes, managing operations and customer experience.
From first contact through to follow-up, she helps ensure communication is clear, organised and stress-free – so the quality of the work on site is matched by the experience off it.
Outside of work, you’ll find Lauren on her bike, spending time in nature, at a winery or trying her hand at the delights on the RecipeTin Eats website
